I LOVE to stretch, but I know many people who hate it. Over the years, there has been a lot of debate on when to stretch, how often to stretch, and is it really even important?

Stretching in Winnebago IL protects our mobility and independence. It helps to keep our muscles flexible, strong, and healthy. It also helps us to maintain range of motion in our joints. Healthy muscles help us keep our balance and avoid falling.

When we don't stretch as often as we should, muscle become shortened and tight. That puts us at a greater risk of joint pain and muscle strain.

Stretches should be held for 30 seconds. You should not bounce, instead you should go as far as you can without pain. Feeling tension while you stretch is ok, pain is NEVER ok.
